REFLECTION - ICT FOR SOCIAL CHANGE

ICT plays a big role for Social Change. It becomes an outlet to different campaings about social change. ICT gives freedom towards a certain individual to speak out and to share thoughts that might contribute for social change. Without ICT, social change would be more difficult to achieve. in today's setting ICT plays the biggest role it helps everyone to work faster and to make things in better ways. ICT for social change is important because it widens the area of disseminating information like for example ICT can be used in sharing of informations that promotes social change to people. with the use of ICT it does not stop with in one are but it will reached into different places.
One example of ICT projects for social change is the campaign about the gender equality and the acceptance of LGTQI in the community. ICT becomes one of the ways where in this type of social change is widen.
